The Study
The V-Eight draws directly from classic American muscle car engineering.
We examined how automotive cues—air-intake dial textures, layered case construction, and exposed screws—translate into a coherent wrist-worn form. Material contrast between brushed steel, darkened elements, and engraved details was treated as structural storytelling, not ornament.

The Approach
We developed controlled studio stills that isolate the watch against deep tonal backgrounds, emphasizing mechanical layering and industrial geometry.
Lighting was shaped to carve edges and reveal dial depth. Dedicated macro views highlighted texture references inspired by engine components, reinforcing the automotive lineage embedded in the design.

The Result
The final imagery presents The V-Eight as a mechanical tribute rather than a styled accessory.
Surfaces feel robust, detailing remains intentional, and proportions hold authority. The stills support REC’s narrative-driven identity, framing the watch as a wearable artifact rooted in automotive heritage.
