The Study
The GTR-02R translates the proportions and visual language of the iconic Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 into a contemporary wristwatch.
Its distinctive tonneau architecture, automotive-inspired dial layout, and exposed mechanical details create a design that balances motorsport aggression with mechanical sophistication. We studied the relationship between the flowing case geometry, layered dial construction, and contrasting colour accents to preserve the watch's character from every angle.

The Approach
We produced a series of high-end product stills exploring the watch through hero compositions, profile studies, macro details, and movement-focused perspectives.
Lighting was carefully shaped to reveal the interplay between brushed, polished, and matte surfaces while maintaining strong contrast against a dark backdrop. Particular attention was given to the dial architecture, sapphire caseback, integrated strap design, and the transitions between titanium, rubber, and crystal components. Macro imagery highlighted the automotive influences embedded throughout the watch, from the instrument-inspired dial layout to the sculptural case construction.

The Result
The final imagery presents the GTR-02R as both a performance instrument and a collector's object.
Surface finishes, mechanical details, and architectural forms remain crisp and legible throughout the series, allowing the watch's automotive inspiration to emerge naturally without overwhelming its horological identity. The stills provide REC with a refined visual asset library capable of supporting launch, editorial, and product-focused marketing across both digital and print applications.
