The Study
The GT40 P/1001 is built from the DNA of the legendary Le Mans-winning race car.
We examined how automotive cues—dial cutouts, layered construction, and engraved references—translate into a coherent wrist form. Material contrast and mechanical detailing were treated as storytelling devices tied directly to racing heritage.

The Approach
We developed high-resolution stills that emphasize structural layering and industrial geometry.
Directional light was used to carve out depth across the dial and case architecture. Macro compositions isolated texture references and engraved caseback elements, reinforcing the watch’s connection to the original chassis P/1001.

The Result
The final imagery presents the GT40 P/1001 as a mechanical tribute with tangible provenance.
Details feel deliberate, surfaces carry weight, and the narrative remains embedded in every angle. The stills support REC’s concept-driven identity, framing the watch as a wearable artifact of motorsport history.
