The Study
The Lunar Classic 36 draws from traditional moonphase dress watches with restrained proportions and layered dial depth.
We examined subdial placement, polished case curvature, and applied indices to preserve elegance without excess. Particular focus was placed on the moonphase aperture, dial texture, and thin bezel profile to maintain visual balance in motion and still.
The Approach
The product film combined deliberate camera choreography, refined lighting transitions, and subtle environmental cues to amplify the watch’s classical tone.
Movement was paced to reveal dial depth and polished case geometry. Complementary stills isolated key angles, highlighting the moonphase complication, slim case architecture, and surface finishing with controlled clarity.
The Result
The final assets position the Lunar Classic 36 as poised and timeless.
Motion builds atmosphere and emotion, while stills ground the watch in material and proportion. Together, film and imagery reinforce Maen’s interpretation of classic horology through contemporary execution.
