The Study

The Brooklyn 36 draws from mid-century chronograph proportions, with a restrained 36mm case and balanced twin subdials.

We analyzed the dial symmetry, stepped bezel, and domed crystal to preserve its vintage character without softening definition. Particular focus was placed on the interplay between sunburst surfaces, contrasting registers, and the tight case-to-bracelet integration that defines its stance.

The Approach

Studio stills established clarity across front, back, and side profiles, revealing case thickness, lug curvature, and bracelet articulation.

Lighting was shaped to emphasize polished chamfers against brushed planes without flattening the dial. The animation followed a sequence-driven structure: slow rotations, dial passes, and profile reveals against dark negative space, allowing geometry and finishing to carry the narrative without external effects.

The Result

The final visuals present the Brooklyn 36 as measured and self-assured.

Its proportions read compact yet substantial, with depth maintained from macro dial detail to full bracelet arc. Together, stills and motion reinforce Maen’s approach: historically informed design executed with contemporary sharpness and mechanical clarity.
