The Study
We partnered with Brew to translate the essence of the Retromatic into a fully digital environment. The brief was clear: preserve the warmth of its retro design language while elevating its perceived value through modern visual execution.
We analyzed the case geometry, brushed surfaces, dial textures, and distinctive color blocking. Particular attention was paid to how light interacts with the rounded case flanks and the subtle transitions between polished and satin finishes. The goal was to ensure authenticity without exaggeration.

The Approach
We built the 3D model from CAD, preserving proportions and micro details down to chamfers and dial printing. Materials were developed to mimic real brushed steel, warm dial tones, and the soft sheen of applied markers.
Motion design extended the still imagery into controlled, cinematic product animation. Hero angles, macro sweeps, and slow rotations were art-directed to feel tactile and deliberate, emphasizing the watch’s compact case architecture and textured surfaces.

The Result
The final visuals delivered a clean character-driven presentation of the Retromatic. Product renders balanced technical clarity with brand appeal, allowing the design to feel highly collectible.
The animation reinforced Brew’s brand identity: design-forward, simple, and controlled. The project positioned the Retromatic as a refined object of industrial design rather than just another microbrand release.
